Crossing Boundaries

I can't add up all my previous trips south. I know the first was more than 30 years ago. Mexico did not steal my heart away, but certainly it has played with it. Hermann Hesse said "The way to salvation leads into your heart, and there alone is God, and there alone is peace." Mexico provides a touch of clarity... It plays with my heart. Now I make preparations to leave home and cross the boundaries between this world and another. In a few weeks I will cross a manmade border, and my heart will miss this home. Still, we who wander know this price is a gift.
The photo is a portion of Diego Rivera's Cuernavaca mural. Cortez scuttled ships on a shoreline to insure his Journey... crossing boundries?
